Directions

The easiest and most reliable way to reach us is from the Duntroon side of Danseys Pass Road.

From Duntroon, follow Danseys Pass Road inland towards Danseys Pass. The road winds through beautiful high-country scenery before reaching the farm. Keep an eye out for our purple gates and farm signage at the entrance.

Once you turn in through the gates, follow the signs past the main house to the accommodation car parking area.

Please note: while Google Maps may sometimes show Danseys Pass as closed in winter, this usually refers to the Naseby side of the pass, not the Duntroon side. The Duntroon side remains the best access route to our accommodation, especially during winter or after snowfall.

When the Naseby side of the pass is open, it is a beautiful scenic drive through the high country and well worth taking your time over. Just be sure to check road conditions first, especially in winter, as this side can be affected by snow and ice.

Getting Here

We recommend guests travel via Duntroon, especially during winter or after snowfall.

The closest small town is Kurow, where you'll find basic supplies, fuel and food options. For larger supermarkets, restaurants and more services, Oamaru is the best place to stop before heading out to the farm.

Because we're in a rural location, it's a good idea to bring any food, drinks and personal items you may need for your stay. Each dome has kitchen facilities, and once you arrive you can settle in, relax in your own private hot tub, enjoy the riverside sauna, and slow down into the pace of the farm.

In winter, we recommend checking road conditions before travelling, driving to the conditions, and allowing a little extra time. If there has been heavy snow, we'll keep guests updated with any important access information before arrival.
